JV Spotlight: #7 Ashley Bodine

Ashley has been playing volleyball for three years and says that she loves her team! She appreciates that they are always cheering her on and says that if she messes something up that she can count on them to look her straight in the eyes and genuinely reassure her by saying "You've got the next one." She indicates that she is learning that volleyball is a game of mistakes and she knows that her team is there to help her fix her mistakes and become a better player. Ashley loves taking French in school and she would like to travel to France some day. She also enjoys her Foods & Fitness class and English. After high school she would like to get a business degree and go to cosmetology school so that eventually she can open up and run her own salon. Ashley notes that Chelsea Ray has already indicated that she would like to be the salon manager and Abby Zimmerman wants to be her financial adviser. A little known fact about Ashley is that she has always wanted to go skydiving/parachuting....she says it is on her bucket list!
