JV Spotlight: #11 Averie Armbrust

Averie has been playing volleyball for six years and says that her favorite part of being on the team is getting to spend time with all of her best friends while kicking other team's butts. She also comments that playing helps her to relieve stress and keeps her in shape. In addition to volleyball Averie is in the theater/drama club which means she gets to be involved with the school plays. Theater is her favorite subject because she says it is so much fun to do! After high school, Averie would like to go to college and study to be an actress. She realizes it's a big dream but says that she is willing to work hard to achieve it. She also wants to get married and have children. A little known fact about Averie is that she used to be a dancer when she was younger. She danced for six years (ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and gymnastics).
