Varsity Spotlight: #13 Satsuki Kubo

Satsuki began playing volleyball when she was 10 years old in Japan. She received the MVP three times. Satsuki moved to Dublin from Suzuka, Japan in July 2011. She began playing volleyball again this past summer and has really enjoyed being on the team. She was surprised when she started playing here by all of the tall players. In Suzuka, she was one of the tallest. Her hobbies are anime and Kirie. She is enjoying the challenge of learning English and going to an American high school. After she graduates, she would like to go to Japan for college and the work in English at a publishing company. She is truly enjoying being on the Dublin volleyball team and is ready to help the team be best they can be.
