 Coach Jackie Helm is entering her third season as Head Varsity Coach at Dublin Scioto. Previously, Jackie served as the varsity assistant at Hilliard Bradley High School where the team finished second in the conference and made it to the district semi-finals of the Division II state tournament. She has also been coaching USAV club volleyball for 8 years with Southeast Volleyball Club, Vanguard, and now Zenith Volleyball Academy. Each of her sqauds has competed in the gold division at the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament, highlighted by a first place finish in 2006. Jackie played volleyball at Capital University from 2004-2008. She was part of an OAC tournament champion team and the only two teams in Capital volleyball history to ever qualify for the NCAA tournament. During that time Jackie was named the 2004 Ohio Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year. She was also a two time all-conference selection, 3 time all-conference academic honoree, two time ESPN the Magazine all-district selection, and was voted team captain and team MVP as a senior. She left Capital as the all time dig leader with over 2,000 digs during her career. Jackie is a native of Lancaster, Ohio and now resides in Grandview Heights. Assistant Varsity Coach - Leslie Franklin As the Assistant Varsity Coach, Coach Franklin enters into her third season here at Dublin Scioto. Previously, Lesley coached at Hilliard Darby HS. Lesley’s coaching career began at Eastern Kentucky University, where as an assistant guided the Colonels to a winning record and a berth in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. Lesley excelled on the court at EKU as well. During her collegiate career, she led the colonels to an OVC Championship and a NCAA tournament appearance. She was twice named All Ohio Valley Conference and was an AVCA All Regional performer as a senior. Lesley graduated from EKU in 2005 with a Masters degree in Physical Education. She is a native of Cranberry Township, PA and currently resides with her husband Chip, daughter Reed, and her chocolate lab, Lexi, in Powell, OH. Junior Varsity Coach - Toby BirnBrich
